Called in on the off chance on New Year’s Day as we saw it was dog friendly. Best decision we’d made, the staff were really accommodating as all the dog friendly tables were full but still managed to fit us in and allowed us to move to a better spot when it became available. Now the service and food what can I say it really was first class, I had possibly the best venison burger I’ve had and my partner was overwhelmed with the chicken burger, topped off with the nicest onion rings I think I’ve ever eaten. We also order sausages from the dog menu, yes it’s that dog friendly, and our pooch snapped them up pleasingly they came out first so had time to cool down by the time our food arrived. Now to the dessert I had the sticky toffee pudding, my partner the crumble, both were absolutely delicious.

The beer battered haddock was absolutely superb, one of the best ever! Home made tartar sauce was delicious too. Definitely recommend a drive out to this place!

We went here on a recommendation from a lovely lady and her daughter who we met in the dog park. She said they are very welcoming with dogs and food is lovely. Staff are brilliant and sorted us a table as we didn't know you had to book (as we was passing through on our way to Scotland) had a dog bowl and some treats for our dog. Have to say the food is outstanding. The beef was amazing and tasted out of this world. The gravy really set it off. I give more stars if I could. I go to say it is Michelin standard. I thank all the staff again and the chief for out of this world roast. Best I have ever tasted.

Our lovely new local. We've been here quite a few times now! The staff are super nice here and we love the food! I had the Sunday dinner last time and it was absolutely spot on. I loved that the staff member offered extra gravy because... Well... Gravy. We are Lancashire people! Haha. We also started a night out here a few weeks ago and brought our friends from afar and they loved it here too! The Malibu and lemonade was lovely!
